Chemical Peel Treatments

Chemical peels have been popular for a few decades now thanks to Hollywood and the science in it that comes to deliver results! Unlike traditional exfoliation which just works on the upmost surface of the skin to remove dead skin cells, chemical peels are a more intensive method of exfoliation that go a step above. We use the best and top care chemical peel called The Perfect Derma Peel!

A session lasts up to 45 minutes and it is a virtually painless experience with little downtown and it is safe and effective to reduce signs of sun damage, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, textured skin, and large pores, and reducing signs of aging via working to erase wrinkles and fine lines in their depth. It uses retinol, salicylic acid, and vitamin C to name a few key ingredients that work wonders in treating different skin concerns to brighten, improve, and bring youthfulness to the skin. It works to peel off the thin layers of the slough and dull dead skin that is sitting on the top of the epidermis layer and encourage cell turnover to reveal new and fresh skin from underneath.

What Can I Expect in a Chemical Peel Treatment?
The skin is cleared, and the first round of solution is applied. Some people feel a mild tingling or stinging is which very normal and the skin may turn red and/or temporarily darken like a bad sunburn. A fan is sometimes also used if the patient requests some cooling sensation to the face. The whole process just takes approximately 15 min to administer.

After the third day, visible peeling of the skin is expected which can last up to 7 days depending on the skin type. It is highly advised to let the skin peel naturally and not touch it much or encourage premature peeling as it will occur on its own and completes the shedding course. This is where the peeling and shedding of the old skin will occur. It is recommended to have a chemical peel service done every 4-6 weeks depending on the skin. It is advised to drink lots of water to stay hydrated, not wear any makeup, keep out of the skin, and avoid rigorous activities for the first few days.
